Do you want to help create a high school where all students have the right conditions to succeed? Perfect. We are currently looking for a special needs educator who wants to make a real difference in students' daily lives – every day.

You will work at one of our three central high schools: Anderstorpsgymnasiet, Baldergymnasiet, or Kanalskolan. Regardless of placement, you will become an important part of the work to develop an accessible, inclusive, and equitable learning environment for our students.

YOUR ROLE

As a special needs educator, you play a central role in the school's student health work and pedagogical development. You work closely with students, teachers, and school leadership to identify needs and create conditions for learning.

You conduct mapping, analysis, and investigations to understand students' needs and plan interventions that strengthen their development. Together with colleagues, you develop, implement, and follow up on measures and action plans.

An important part of your assignment is to mentor and support teachers and work teams in their pedagogical work. You contribute with knowledge, methods, and tools that make teaching more accessible for all students. In this way, you drive the development of the school's work with inclusion, equity, and compensatory measures – always with the student's best interest in focus.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

You have a degree in special needs education or as a special teacher, along with a teaching license as a foundation. Experience from working within a high school is meritorious, as is experience with reading and writing assessments or working with students in need of special support.

To thrive in this role, you need to be structured and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on your work. You are confident in your profession and can make independent assessments while having the courage to raise issues and contribute to development work.

You have a solution-oriented approach and see possibilities in every student's development, even when the path forward is not obvious. At the same time, you are collaborative and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. With your understanding of different needs, such as those related to ADHD/Autism (NPF), you meet every student with a supportive and developmental perspective.
